Through the Ontario REALTOR® Wellness Program (ORWP), members have access to Maple, a virtual healthcare platform that provides 24/7, year-round access to Canadian-licensed primary care providers.
How It Works
All eligible OREA members are automatically enrolled in the ORWP Virtual Healthcare and Mental Health Program. Maple offers a convenient and user-friendly platform that enables members to connect with Canadian general practitioners (GPs) and licensed therapists from home or while on the go. Members can request on-demand consultations or schedule appointments at a time that best suits their needs.
Coverage
Mental Health Counselling
Members are eligible for one 50-minute counselling session per week to support concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health challenges. For urgent needs, the average wait time to speak with a provider is approximately 12 hours. Alternatively, members may schedule appointments in advance.
Headspace Plus
Members receive access to a meditation and mindfulness application to support overall well-being.
Mind by Maple
Members have access to a comprehensive library of mental health and wellness educational resources.
Eligibility
Coverage is available to OREA members and their eligible dependents aged 18 and over.

Termination
There is no age-based termination. Coverage remains in effect as long as the individual maintains OREA membership.
Additional Mental Health Coverage Through GreenShield:
Mental health services are also covered under paramedical services through GreenShield For Standard plan:
- Annual Maximum: $800 per year (combined)
- Reimbursement: 70%
As part of enhancements introduced in July 2025 at no additional cost we have added the following:
- Dependent children under the age of 18 now have access to mental health benefits with a combined annual maximum of $1,000, reimbursed at 70%.
- Coverage has been expanded to include a broader range of paramedical practitioners, including additional mental health providers.
Program Utilization
As of February 2026, there have been over 11,392 virtual mental health consultations conducted through the Maple platform, demonstrating strong engagement and utilization of these services among members.
