London CMA New Home Starts - February 2026

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) has released its latest new home starts data, highlighting residential construction activity across the London CMA.

Key Highlights for February 2026:

  • 61 new home starts in the London CMA.
  • February starts were highly concentrated in London (Hyde Park) and St. Thomas (South). See the Neighbourhood Spotlight in the attached report for more details.
  • In the first two months of 2026, there have been 438 new home starts in London CMA. The 438 starts were 15% above the median number recorded in the January-February period over the past decade.
